Roving exhibition on Light Rail development projects
Residents in the North West New Territories will be more familiar with the progress of the KCR Light Rail development projects following the launch of a roving exhibition.
The exhibition provides passengers, residents and the public with an opportunity to understand more about the future expansion of Light Rail.The roving exhibition will be staged in busy locations in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai in January and February.The schedule of the exhibition is indicated below:

The Corporation will invest $2.3 billion to improve and expand the Light Rail system in the next few years to cope with the rapid population growth in the North West New Territories and to enable the system to integrate fully and effectively with West Rail Phase I which will be commissioned by the end of 2003.The projects include the construction of two new extensions in Tin Shui Wai, the grade separation of Light Rail from road traffic at Tuen Mun Pui To Road, the upgrading and building of the interchanging stops with West Rail and the installation of a new signalling system for the new extensions.
At the roving exhibition, panels detailing the projects with vivid pictures will be displayed.In addition, models of the grade separation project at Pui To Road and the new extensions will be exhibited.
