Light Rail and Police carry out joint anti-jaywalking operation
 
KCR Light Rail and the Police carried out a joint anti-jaywalking operation this afternoon (23 May) at the pedestrian crossing near Tuen Mun Light Rail Shek Pai Stop.
Today, the Police prosecuted 8 and warned 23 jaywalkers and cyclists at the crossing.
Apart from prosecuting the jaywalkers, the Police and KCR Light Rail also praised five of those who paid strict attention to the prevailing traffic regulations.
Regular anti-jaywalking operations are carried out jointly by KCR Light Rail and the Police at major Light Rail pedestrian crossings to warn and prosecute pedestrians and cyclists who fail to observe traffic regulations.
 
The Police and KCR Light Rail praised two pedestrians who had observed the prevailing traffic regulations.
