Light Rail service resumes normal from an overhead line failure
Light Rail service in Tin Shui Wai has resumed normal after being interrupted by an overhead line failure this evening.
The incident started at 4:51 p.m. when a section of overhead line in Tin Shui Wai failed to function. Service of Light Rail routes 720 (Tin Shui Wai Terminus – Yau Oi) and 721 (Tin Shui Wai Terminus – Yuen Long Terminus) was interrupted. A total of 12 feeder buses were deployed to provide emergency service for passengers.
Light Rail service returned to normal at 5:35 p.m. when the power supply resumed.
KCRC apologizes for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
