Light Rail service partially disrupted after a road traffic accident
 
A section of Light Rail service between Siu Hong Stop and Hung Shui Kiu Stop was affected this afternoon (26 June) after a container truck intruded onto the Light Rail tracks at Tin Ha Road/Castle Peak Road near Chung Uk Tsuen Stop.
The accident happened at about 1:45 p.m. Light Rail service between Siu Hong Stop and Hung Shui Kiu Stop was temporarily affected. Routes 610, 614, 615 and 720 had to be diverted. 15 feeder buses were deployed to run between Hung Tin Road Emergency Platform and Siu Hong Stop to serve affected passengers.
The site was cleared at 2:30 p.m. and Light Rail service resumed normal.
The KCRC apologized to passengers inconvenienced by the incident.
