Train service at Lo Wu Station slightly disrupted
Train service at Lo Wu Station of KCR East Rail was slightly disrupted this evening when a man waiting for a train at Platform 2 of Lo Wu Station reportedly fell sick and fell onto the tracks at 7:20 pm.
The man was later rescued by firemen. Train service at Lo Wu Station resumed normal at 7:50 pm.
During the incident, KCR East Rail maintained close coordination with Immigration Department and adopted effective crowd control measures to maintain order at the station and platforms. About 1,000 passengers were waiting for trains at the platform at the time of the incident and platform order was good.
A KCR spokesman apologised for the inconvenience caused to passengers during the incident.
