KCRC Chairman featured in new Trackrecord

In the current Trackrecord, the new chairman of the KCRC, Mr Michael Tien, speaks on a number of issues of concern to Corporation staff.
During the interview he conducted with Trackrecord, Mr Tien spoke about creating greater accountability among all levels of staff, increasing ridership, cutting costs, and improving the Corporation’s image.
In other stories in this issue, we cover the topping out of West Rail’s Siu Hong Station, as well as visits to KCRC’s new projects by Mainland officials and a group of British MPs. Additionally, there is a story about the Corporation’s invitation for expressions of interest in the joint development of Ho Tung Lau (Site A).
Also in the new issue, we look at various KCRC projects to improve station facilities for its passengers, including the installation of facilities for the disabled that have come in for special praise by the Hong Kong Blind Union.
Trackrecord, the official staff newsletter of the KCRC, is published once a month and distributed to all employees, the Corporation’s key stakeholders, consulates, senior government officials, the media and community leaders.
