Light Rail service disrupted after traffic accident
 
A short section of Light Rail service between Kin Sang Stop and Kei Lun Stop (three stops) was affected this evening (28 June) when a bicycle collided with a light rail vehicle at the junction of Tsun Wen Road and Tsing Lun Road.
The accident happened at about 7:50 pm when a bicycle collided with a Sam Shing bound route 505 light rail train. The cyclist was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital.
The police are investigating the cause of the incident.
During the affected period, Light Rail routes 505 and 615 had to be diverted. A total of six feeder buses were deployed to run between Siu Hong and Shek Pai to relieve affected passengers.
The incident site was cleared and Light Rail service was resumed at about 8:15 pm.
