KCRC takes young immigrants for drive on East Rail cab simulator

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) invited a group of 20 young new immigrants to join an early celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival at East Rail Kowloon Tong Station today. The children also went on a train ride to Fo Tan Ho Tung Lau Maintenance Centre, where they were given an opportunity to experience driving in the cab simulator of a new train.
The group of new immigrants joining today’s event were members of the International Social Service Hong Kong Branch. The objective of the event was to give the new immigrants a better understanding of various aspects of Hong Kong.
To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, starting from 2 September, East Rail will launch a ‘Moon Cake Redemption Programme’. Passengers travelling on East Rail twice can purchase a box of ‘East Rail Moon Cake’ at a discounted price of $20. KCRC and Ng Mow Kee will jointly contribute $1, to the International Social Service Hong Kong Branch to fund their services for new immigrants.
