KCRC receives two tenders for Ho Tung Lau property development
The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) has received two tenders for joint venture development of Ho Tung Lau (Site A).
Speaking after today’s closing of submission, Director, Property, Mr Daniel Lam said, "We are satisfied with the response in view of the technical complexities of the project. The Corporation will carefully examine the tenders and decide on the next step forward at a later stage."
The proposed development is adjacent to KCR Fo Tan Station. Occupying an area of about 2.65 hectares, it will produce approximately 122,900 sq. m. of gross floor area, comprising 120,900 sq. m. for residential use and 2,000 sq. m. for retail purposes.
Five residential blocks of 37 to 40 storeys will be built on a two-storey podium to provide about 1,560 units and 293 car park spaces.
Last month, KCRC invited 11 companies/consortia to submit tenders for joint venture property development of Ho Tung Lau (Site A). The tendering exercise closed at noon today.
