New Issue of Trackrecord covers West Rail progress tours
In the current issue of Trackrecord, we cover three tours of West Rail conducted by Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) at the end of January. One of the tours was set up for the members of the Managing Board, including new members Mr Patrick B Paul, Mr Wan Man-yee and Mr Victor So who had not yet seen the project. Two other tours were organised – one for Mr Robert Footman, Commissioner for Transport, and one for the media who received a briefing on the project’s progress.
In another story we look at "Disney on Ice – KCRC Island Night", an event sponsored by KCRC and attended by more than 1,000 senior citizens and children together with 3,000 passengers who were the winners of a lucky draw. During the evening KCRC presented two cheques totalling $140,000 to Project Care and the Senior Citizens Home Safety Association.
Also in the current issue we report on the latest Customer Satisfaction Survey, which shows passengers growing increasingly satisfied with the service provided by KCR East Rail; the launch of new, simplified single journey tickets for East Rail; and the renovations taking place at Citylink Plaza that will turn this Corporation-owned property into an exciting new shopping centre for Sha Tin area residents.
Trackrecord, the official staff newsletter of the KCRC, is published once a month and distributed to all employees, the Corporation’s key stakeholders, consulates, senior government officials, the media and community leaders.
