Three KCR bus routes detour to West Rail stations
Effective 14 December (Sunday), three KCR bus routes in Tuen Mun and Yuen Long will operate via West Rail stations to tie in with the opening of West Rail.
The three bus routes are:
K51 (Tai Lam – Fu Tai), currently numbered as route 521/521P, will route via the public transport interchanges at both Tuen Mun and Siu Hong Stations.

K65 (Yuen Long Terminus – Lau Fau Shan), currently numbered as route 655, will route via the public transport interchange at Tin Shui Wai Station.

K75 (Hung Shui Kiu – Ha Tsuen), currently numbered as route 657, will route via the public transport interchange at Tin Shui Wai Station.
A KCRC spokesman said, the detour of these bus routes will further enhance the feeder service for West Rail which will be opened on 20 December. The re-numbered routes will visit all their original stops.
Frequency of K51 will be enhanced to 8 – 15 minutes. K65 will remain unchanged. K75, which is running concurrently with a newly introduced route – K75P, will provide service at a frequency of 12 – 20 minutes.
Service hours of these routes will be slightly extended by 10 to 15 minutes.
Fares for these three routes will be $3.7. West Rail and Light Rail passengers will enjoy a free feeder bus service.
In addition, another bus route – 659 (Tin Heng – Tin Shui Wai Town Centre), currently serving Tin Shui Wai North, will have its frequency adjusted to 15 minutes, as most passengers on this route have shifted to use Light Rail after the opening of the new extensions.
