KCRC Citylink Plaza all leased out
The Citylink Plaza of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) above Shatin Station has achieved a 100% occupancy following the completion of the $50 million renovation work.
Shops and commercial spaces at the Citylink Plaza are let at a monthly rental between $25 - $42 per square feet, which is double that before the renovation. In total, it will bring an annual rental receipt of about $40 million to the Corporation.
A KCRC spokesman said, "On average, the premises attract a daily customer flow of over 80,000. With promotional events, the figure could go up by 20-25%."
The new commercial tenants provide a good trade mix to meet customers’ needs with service ranging from banking in HSBC’s largest branch office in Shatin to eateries of "Food Link" to suit various tastes and budgets.
With premises leased to Physical, Sau Sang Tong, Be a Lady, and Nu Health, Citylink also offers a good choice for people who are conscious of their weight and look.
There are other household names such as Ice Fire, My Jewellery and Vivid Red to take care of people’s optical, apparel and jewellery needs. The place is also a magnet to students who would like to receive tutorial outside school from a large educational centre operated by Intell Education.
