First joint KCRC/MTR meet-the-passengers session at Nam Cheong Station
The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) and the MTR Corporation today jointly held their first meet-the-passengers session at Nam Cheong Station, the interchange station between KCR West Rail and MTR Tung Chung Line.
Senior KCRC and MTR managers attended the session to meet passengers and listen to their views on the station’s facilities and services.
Nam Cheong Station is the first station in Hong Kong to be jointly managed by the two rail companies and to house two railways under one roof.
Each day, about 11,000 passengers interchange between West Rail and the MTR’s Tung Chung Line at Nam Cheong Station, which is also the southern terminus of West Rail.
About 40 passengers attended the first KCRC/MTR meet-the-passenger session held at Nam Cheong Station.
