Free feeder service for West Rail passengers taking K76
In a move to provide more convenience for residents in Tin Shui Wai North areas to take West Rail, the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation will provide free feeder service for passengers using KCR bus route K76 to interchange for West Rail with effect from 3 July.
Mr Michael Lai, General Manager, Marketing, also announced that the adult fare for K76 would be reduced from $4.4 to $3.7 and child/senior citizen fare from $2.2 to $1.8. The route will ply between West Rail Tin Shui Wai Station and Tin Heng in a circular mode so as to enhance feeder service for West Rail.
Service hours of K76 will be extended from peak hours only to full day from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, at a frequency of 7 to 12 minutes.
In the mean time, another temporary bus route K70 (Tin Shui Wai Town Centre – Yuen Long East), which was introduced in connection with the opening of the Light Rail Tin Shui Wai Extension will be cancelled on 3 July
