A convenient ride on KCR trains to attend the People's Liberation Army's Parade

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will strengthen the services of West Rail to cope with the anticipated increase in the number of travellers to and from Shek Kong Barracks to attend the People’s Liberation Army’s 77th anniversary Parade on 1 August.
Passengers for Shek Kong Barracks can take West Rail and interchange for KMB bus route 54R at Kam Sheung Road Station or take East Rail and interchange for KMB bus route 276R at Sheung Shui Station.
Not only will West Rail increase its train frequency, East Rail will also regulate its services in accordance with passenger demand that day (1 August). Directional signs and notices will be put up to direct passengers to take interchange services. In addition, public announcements will be made at stations and in trains to inform passengers about the special service arrangements.
Additional manpower will be deployed at West Rail Kam Sheung Road Station and East Rail Sheung Shui Station to provide assistance to passengers. KCRC will closely monitor the passenger traffic to ensure the demand can be met.
For enquiries, passengers can call the KCRC Hotline at 2929 3399.
