3 September 2004 West Rail Fun All The Way Coming Events   To enhance awareness of West Rail services among the general public and to encourage members of the public to ride the new railway, the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) has launched the ‘West Rail Fun All The Way’ promotion campaign starting June 2004. A variety of special events including musical and dance performances, cultural activities, entertainment programmes, as well as exhibitions are held at West Rail stations in order to provide an enjoyable afternoon for families during weekends. This week’s special events are : Date Venue Highlight of Events 4 September(Saturday) 3:00pm West Rail Tuen Mun Station Chinese Calligraphy on West Rail A dance performance by the students of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts will be held on board the Calligraphy Train at 3pm when the train departs from Tuen Mun. Academy students will also organise guided tours on board the train to promote Chinese calligraphy and community arts.
