KCRC reminds passengers not to bring potted plants onto KCRC premises

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) reminds passengers not to bring potted plants or plants with soil onto KCRC premises for the safety and comfort of others.
A KCRC spokesman said the Corporation is well aware of recent reports that red fire ants were found in Guangdong Province. Staff have been instructed to remind passengers not to bring potted plants or plants with soil onto KCRC premises. Passengers found doing so will not be permitted to enter the paid area or will be asked to leave the train or railway premises. The Corporation has also stepped up publicity on the subject.
With Lunar New Year coming, passengers are also reminded not to bring burning incense or roast pigs onto KCRC premises.
