Enjoy leisure travel with West Rail Festival Pass during Chinese New Year

During Chinese New Year, KCRC will launch a new West Rail Festival Pass offering passengers special concession when they travel on West Rail for the Lunar New Year activities. Priced at only $20, the Festival Pass is a single day pass valid for unlimited journeys on West Rail, Light Rail, KCR Buses and designated feeder services on the day of purchase.
Passengers can use the pass to travel to famous spots in the Northwest New Territories including the Gold Coast, Lung Kwu Tan, and Lau Fau Shan, among others. They can also relax in a seaside café and sample seafood at caterers on palm-lined beach.
As a token of appreciation to passengers and to promote recycling of the tickets, passengers who redeem 10 used passes will receive one free Festival Pass. Don’t miss this chance to use the West Rail Festival Pass to explore Hong Kong’s countryside. Free leisure guides (in Chinese only) are obtainable at all KCR customer services centres and West Rail stations.
The West Rail Festival Pass will be offered until 20 February 2005 in order to encourage passengers to travel on West Rail during the festive season. KCRC would like to wish all passengers a Healthy and Prosperous New Year. Kung Hei Fat Choi!
