KCRC hands over the Tai Wai Public Transport Interchange

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation today handed over the new Tai Wai Public Transport Interchange (PTI) to the Government, which will operate and manage the facility.
Covering an area of over 12,700 sq. m., the PTI is directly connected to Exit B of the KCR Tai Wai Station. It provides eight bus bays, three mini bus bays and one taxi bay. General loading and unloading bays are also available.
Tai Wai Station is now an important interchange station between East Rail and Ma On Shan Rail. In future there will also be a major property development and a large shopping mall above the station. This new PTI has been designed to meet the area’s increasing transport needs by providing convenient access to and from the station and to other forms of transport.
