To encourage passengers to give blood, the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) and the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service join hands in organising a Blood Donation Week. Starting from today (6 June) until this Friday (10 June), a temporary blood donation centre is set up at Sha Tin and Hung Hom stations.
Details of the Blood Donation Week are as follows:

KCR has been joining hands with the Red Cross to organize blood donation activities since the 1970s. Throughout the years, KCRC has set up temporary blood donation centres at its offices, depots, station concourses and even in Light Rail vehicles, to encourage passengers and staff to give blood. Last year, the Hong Kong Red Cross presented its Special Merit Award to the Corporation in recognition of its three decades of support.
Passengers take time to support the blood donation campaign held at Sha Tin Station.
