KCRC strengthens service for Mid-Autumn Festival
 
The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will extend the service hours of its railway and bus networks in the Mid-Autumn Festival for the convenience of the travelling public.
The special service arrangements on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival are as follows:
East Rail domestic line (between Sheung Shui and East Tsim Sha Tsui) Last departures at Sheung Shui and East Tsim Sha Tsui stations
2:00 am (19 September) 

• Frequency after midnight will be 6 to 10 minutes
Ma On Shan Rail Last departure at Wu Kai Sha Station
2:01 am (19 September)

Last departure at Tai Wai Station
2:28 am (19 September)

• Frequency after midnight will be 6 to 10 minutes
West Rail Last departures at Nam Cheong and Tuen Mun Stations
2:00 am (19 September)

• Frequency after midnight will be 10 minutes
Light Rail Routes 507, 705, 706, 614P, 615P
Service hours will be extended to 2:30 am (19 September)

• Frequency after midnight will be 12 minutes
KCR Bus Route K16
Last departure at Nam Cheong Station
2:40 am (19 September)
Last departure at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station
1:20 am (19 September)

Routes K51, K52
Service hours will be extended to 1:00 am (19 September)

Route 506
Service hours will be extended to 2:30 am (19 September)

• Frequency of the above four bus routes after midnight will be 12 to 15 minutes
Passengers holding the West Rail Discovery Pass of 18 September are entitled to travel on West Rail and designated feeder services till the end of services on the next day.
For cross boundary services, the first and last Lo Wu-bound trains will depart from East Tsim Sha Tsui Station at 5:28 am and 11:05 pm respectively as usual. The Lo Wu checkpoint is open from 6:30 am to midnight. KCRC will closely monitor passenger traffic, maintain close contact with government departments and boundary authorities, and regulate trains to and from Lo Wu to ensure a smooth flow of traffic at the checkpoint.
During the festive period, additional staff will be deployed and extra trains on standby. Notices will be displayed at all stations informing passengers of any special service arrangements.
