Free Ride for the Disabled on KCR on "International Day of Disabled persons"

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will continue to support the "International Day of Disabled Persons 2005" by offering free ride service to the disabled and a companion this Sunday (27 November).
Holders of free ride cards issued by the Joint Council for the Physically and Mentally Disabled and one of their companions can obtain tickets from any East Rail, Ma On Shan and West Rail ticket offices to enjoy free rides on East Rail, Ma On Shan Rail and West Rail this Sunday. Moreover, disabled persons and one of their companions can also enjoy the free ride service on Light Rail and KCR buses.
As a staunch supporter of the "International Day of Disabled Persons" since it was first organised by the Joint Council for the Physically and Mentally Disabled in 1993, KCRC is dedicated to providing a barrier-free environment for the disabled to use its services. Stations along East Rail, Ma On Shan Rail, West Rail and Light Rail and KCR trains are well equipped with a range of amenities to facilitate the disabled to use KCR services. KCRC will constantly review and improve the facilities to cater to the needs of the disabled.
For enquiries, passengers are welcome to call the KCRC Passenger Service Hotline at 2929 3399.
