No fault found on East Rail train after examination
 
KCRC did not find any fault on an East Rail train which was taken out from service due to a suspected failure this evening.
The incident happened at 6:22pm today when an East Rail train heading for East Tsim Sha Shui was withdrawn from service at Kowloon Tong Station for examination due to a suspected failure of a train component. The passengers on board the train had to be detrained and took the next train to continue their journey. East Rail service returned to normal at 6:30pm. The Corporation did not find any fault on the train component after examination.
KCRC apologizes for the inconvenience caused to passengers.
