Students visit Liu Tung Mui's exhibition at KCR Art Corner
 
Some 20 primary school students today visited the KCR Art Corner at East Rail East Tsim Sha Tsui Station to view paintings created by disabled artist Liu Tung Mui.
Liu Tung Mui was present at the KCR Art Corner to introduce her paintings to the students. She also had a painting demonstration on site to share her experience with the students.
Liu Tung Mui is an artist who suffers from cerebral palsy as a result of asphyxia that occurred during her birth. She has to rely on wheelchair in her daily life. She expresses her thoughts and communicates with people by painting with her left hand. In 2005, she was selected as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young Persons" in Hong Kong. As an ADA Angel, she is dedicated to promoting the idea of "Arts are for Everyone" to the local community and the world at large.
Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation joins hands with the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK) to present 15 art pieces created by Liu Tung Mui at the KCR Art Corner at East Rail East Tsim Sha Tsui Station. Members of the public are most welcome to visit the exhibition which will last till 7 July.
