Beijing-Kowloon Through Train service affected by flooding
(Version updated at 19:00)

Due to flooding in Hunan, the Beijing-Kowloon Through Train (T97) due to arrive Hung Hom at 1:10 pm this afternoon will be delayed and is expected to arrive Hung Hom at around 10 pm tonight. The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will assist passengers, particularly the visitors to Hong Kong, to arrange transport to their final destinations.
Meanwhile, the Beijing-Kowloon Through Train (T98) due to depart from Hung Hom for Beijing this afternoon at 3pm will also be delayed. The train is expected to depart from Hung Hom for Beijing an hour after T97's arrival in Hong Kong tonight. A refund of the ticket price will be arranged for passengers who do not wish to take this train.
Passengers of T98 are invited to call the Intercity Passenger Services Hotline at (852) 2947-7888 before they make their way to Hung Hom, and to take note of the impending announcement from the electronic media.
Since the Beijing-Guangzhou section is seriously affected by flooding, emergency repairs will be carried out by the Mainland Railway Authorities in the next few days. Services of Beijing-Kowloon Through Train and Shanghai-Kowloon Through Train will be affected. Passengers may consider arranging refund of ticket price or seeking alternate transport arrangement.
Passengers may call the Intercity Passenger Services Hotline and take note of radio announcements for further information.
KCRC apologises for the inconvenience caused.
