KCRC introduces two temporary bus routes to cope with service demand in new school year

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will make special arrangements of introducing two free temporary bus routes to cope with the increase in demand for service during the initial back-to-school period.
From 1 - 8 September, KCRC will introduce two free temporary bus routes to facilitate transfer to West Rail and Light Rail. They are bus routes S1 (West Rail Tin Shui Wai Station and Tin Heng Circular) and S2 (West Rail Siu Hong Station and Tai Hing Circular), which will operate from Monday to Friday during morning peak hours between 6:30am and 9:30am at intervals of 6 to 7 minutes and 7 to 8 minutes respectively.
KCRC is also ready to increase the frequencies of East Rail, Ma On Shan Rail and West Rail during the initial back-to-school period. Extra staff will be deployed at stations to assist passengers. These arrangements will also be applied to Light Rail and bus services.
During the period, passengers are advised to leave home earlier, and take note of announcements on television and radio.
