Free Ride for the Disabled on KCR on "International Day of Disabled Persons"
 
The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will continue to support the "International Day of Disabled Persons 2006" on 26 November (Sunday) by offering free ride service to the disabled and a companion.
Holders of free ride cards issued by the Joint Council for the Physically and Mentally Disabled and one companion can obtain tickets from any East Rail, Ma On Shan and West Rail ticket offices to enjoy free rides on East Rail, Ma On Shan Rail and West Rail on 26 November. They can also enjoy the free service on Light Rail and KCR buses on that day.
KCRC is dedicated to providing a barrier-free environment for the disabled to use its services by providing a range of amenities to facilitate the disabled to use KCR services. The Corporation has been supporting the "International Day of Disabled Persons" since it was first organised by the Joint Council for the Physically and Mentally Disabled in 1993.
