Train fibre-glass nosing slightly damaged
An empty train at Tai Wai Maintenance Centre while being shunted to a stabling point at about 10.22 a.m. today, hit a buffer stop at a dead slow speed below 2 km per hour and had its fibre-glass nosing slightly damaged.
No one was injured and the driver was taken out of service immediately. The incident had been reported to the Hong Kong Railway Inspectorate. Investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
