"KCR, Then and Now" photo exhibition
The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) has extended the photo exhibition of its newly published book – "KCR, Then and Now" (百載鐵道情) to more stations until the end of April.
"KCR, Then and Now", a book celebrating the history and achievements of the Kowloon-Canton Railway in nearly a century, presents a good account of the evolution of Kowloon-Canton Railway's trains, alignment, stations, network, operations and management. An exhibition featuring selected photos from the book will be staged at West Rail Mei Foo Station and East Rail Sha Tin and Hung Hom stations during the following period:
22 January – 30 April West Rail Mei Foo Station
22 January – 4 February East Rail Sha Tin Station
5 February – 23 February East Rail Hung Hom Station
"KCR, Then and Now", priced at $88, has been well-received by the public since its launch in December last year. It is available for sale at designated KCR Customer Services Centres (East Rail: Hung Hom Station, Sha Tin Station, Sheung Shui Station, Lo Wu Station; West Rail: Tin Shui Wai Station, Siu Hong Station; Light Rail: Yuen Long Terminus and Ferry Pier Terminus), as well as at major book stores. Net proceeds generated from the sale of the book will be donated to Lifeline Express for charity use.
