Exhibition of paintings by local artists at "KCR Art Corner"

The "KCR Art Corner" at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station is now presenting selected works of three local artists from Tuen Mun. They are Liu Hon Wo, Wong Cheong and Ng Kin Wai.
This exhibition is co-organised by the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) and the Working Group on Cultural, Recreational and Arts Development of Tuen Mun District Council. Since 2005, the Working Group presented awards to local artists with outstanding contribution in art. Liu Hon Wo, Wong Cheong and Ng Kin Wai were the award winners in 2005.
Liu Hon Wo, Wong Cheong and Ng Kin Wai are active in participating exhibitions in Hong Kong as well as in overseas. The works now on display at "KCR Art Corner" are mainly Chinese paintings, some of which are award-winning pieces.
KCRC launched the "KCR Art Corner" at East Rail East Tsim Sha Tsui Station with the objective to promote local art education and to bring art into the community. It also provides a platform for local artists to share their works with the public. The "KCR Art Corner" has cooperated with a number of art schools, non-profit organisations and local artists to display outstanding artworks since its launch.
This exhibition will be on until late March. Passengers are most welcome to visit the "KCR Art Corner" to share the achievements of Hong Kong's local artists.
