KCRC unveils Lok Ma Chau Spur Line in new series of roving exhibitions
 
The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will give the public a first look at the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line with a series of roving exhibitions at East Rail stations starting this Saturday (19 May 2007). The objective of the exhibitions is to enhance public understanding of the new service when the line is commissioned in mid 2007.
The exhibitions will highlight the user-friendly features of the service, the facilities at Lok Ma Chau Station and its connections to the Mainland side. Leaflets on the Spur Line service and small give-away premiums will also be available.
Interested parties are welcome to visit one of the roving exhibitions between 11am and 7pm at the following venues*:

The 7.4-kilometre Lok Ma Chau Spur Line will provide a second railway boundary crossing for the travelling public. Upon its commissioning in mid 2007, passengers will be able to reach the Lok Ma Chau Station by taking an East Rail train at any of the East Rail stations from East Tsim Sha Tsui to Sheung Shui. A journey from Sheung Shui to Lok Ma Chau will take about 6 minutes.
